Rosemary Beach

Avid Pinterest users have probably stumbled upon Rosemary beach at some point while perusing foodie restaurants, shopping, blogger posts, or dream vacations. While staying along 30A at Seaside this summer, we decided we wanted to see what all the hype was about and made a half day trip of it. The architecture of Rosemary beach is unlike anywhere else. It reminds me of the old Hansel and Gretel story with the European buildings and cobblestone streets.

It’s like being transported to another time & place. However, despite it being beautiful it wasn’t a great family beach like Seaside (IMO). There were a couple cute shops (although more were closed on Sundays than I was expecting) and some AMAZING restaurants, but honestly I felt like we went, saw it all, took the pics, and were ready to leave in about 3 hours. The shops did take all my money though. haha. We got Kenzie some cute things in GiGi’s clothes & toys, and I got a workout tank that says “I’d rather be at Rosemary beach” which will be true – every time I work out. haha. There was also a VERY cool and trendy interior design shops called Tracery Interiors that had some awesome things if you’re looking for a semi-modern beach vibe. We did grab Brunch at Cowgirl Kitchen and it lives up to the Hype. It was super yummy!

Then we just walked around and looked at the shops. They did have a food bazaar on Sundays from 9-1 that had lots of good produce and snacks, but we were too full from brunch to really enjoy. It’s definitely a fun spot for a girls trip (and I’ll be making it for sure) but I didn’t love it for a family spot. Dave said he was bored about an hour in. haha. All in all a fun day though and I’m so glad we got to check it out.

XOXO
